Laurie Swami is the President and CEO of the Nuclear Waste Management Organization. She is responsible for implementing Canada’s plan for the long-term management of used nuclear fuel. Prior to this, Laurie had a 30 year career in various roles at the Ontario Power Generation, most notably as the Senior Vice President of Decommissioning and Nuclear Waste Management. She has a bachelor of Science in Engineering from Queen’s University and a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business.
Laurie has a lot of experience and advice for women working in a male dominated industry.
