Leaders Unplugged Podcast

As my grandmother Laura St-Louis would say: “We are blessed”. In my childhood, I was surrounded by strong women and supportive men. I was exposed early on to great stories of how difficulties were overcome and how life was full of challenges to be met with courage, perseverance and resilience.

Those early days had an impact on me. I realized that life is about making choices, big and small, and that the journey is as important as where you end up. I learned that life can be messy, glorious, and very funny.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to come across great leadership talent. I’ve sometimes wondered how these leaders that I admire became successful not only in their professional life, but also as a person. I’ve chosen to profile female leaders as I believe there is a need for more female role models. I’ve also chosen women from different backgrounds and at different stages in their personal and professional lives as leadership manifests itself in many different ways.  Some of these women I have crossed paths with professionally and others I’m proud to call friends.   As I continue this adventure, I feel privileged to follow up with other remarkable women based on your suggestions.  Their stories are insightful and inspiring.
