I am a consultant to boards and executives dealing with disruptions and transformations, mergers and acquisitions and changes in leadership and strategy. I am also a contingent faculty member of Schulich’s School of Business Executive Education Centre and an Advisor to the venture capital firm DGC Capital.
I serve on the boards of Brampton Distribution Holdco and the private holding company RES PUBLICA Capital and am a former Board Member of Ontario Power Generation (OPG), Pathways to Education, and Harbourfront Center.
I was the first global Chief Branding and Communications Officer for Manulife, a highly complex and regulated, global financial services company based in Toronto with 35,000 employees in Asia, the United States and Canada.
During a successful 14-year career at Manulife, I was the head of HR and Communications for the company’s Canadian Division.
Previous experience includes Business Development at Bell Canada, Senior Administrator at Laurentian University and Executive Director with the Sudbury United Way and the Sudbury Arts Council.
On May 29, 2018 I received an honorary Doctorate of Laws from my alma mater, Laurentian University.
